Stabilization involves algorithms that are designed to make your videos steadier and less shaky.
Many of us capture videos handheld without a tripod, often resulting in shaky footage. Even though modern smartphones and cameras come equipped with stabilization features, they aren't always foolproof, and videos can still end up shaky.
That's where the AI Stabilization filter steps in. With just a click, our advanced algorithm stabilizes the entire video.
Setting the Right Strength
The AI Stabilization filter includes an adjustable 'Strength' setting, with a slider that ranges from 1 to 10.
A higher 'Strength' setting means more stabilization will be applied. Use higher values for extremely shaky videos, and lower values for videos with mild shakiness
If you're unsure about the level of shakiness, starting with a middle value like 5 can be a good baseline.
Troubleshooting Tips
Issue: Shaking Black Bars Around the Video
Older videos often have black bars on their sides. When such videos are stabilized, the resulting footage may show moving black bars.
To prevent this, it's advisable to trim off the black bars before applying the AI Stabilization filter. This ensures a cleaner, more stable output without the distraction of shifting borders.
Higher Strength values can make your video look zoomed-in so only apply higher values if the shaking is extreme.
